Mainshaft Locknut Staking ToolT77J-7025-F

  1. Lock transmission (7003) into first and third gears.

  1.  CAUTION: Staked areas of locknuts must be fully released or damage to shaft threads will result.

    Using Mainshaft Locknut Staking Tool T77J-7025-F or equivalent, release the staked areas securing output shaft and countershaft locknuts.

  1. Using a 32mm socket, remove and discard the locknut, then remove the countershaft rear bearing and thrust washer.
