NOTE: Use Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-R0051 or equivalent to perform electrical pinpoint tests.

  • Engine Will Not Crank in Either PARK or NEUTRAL
  • Undercharged battery.
  • Misadjusted linkage.
  • Misadjusted park/neutral position switch.
  • Damaged ignition switch.
  • Starter circuit.
  • Damaged starter motor.
  • Engine Cranks with the Shift Control Selector Lever in Ranges Other Than PARK and NEUTRAL
  • Misadjusted park/neutral position switch.
  • Damaged park/neutral position switch.
  • Backup Lamps Inoperative
  • Bulb damaged, burnt out, harness damaged, corroded, loose wires.
  • SERVICE as required.
 
  • Misadjusted linkage.
  • ADJUST as required.
 
  • Misadjusted park/neutral position switch.
 
  • Damaged park/neutral position switch.
  • SERVICE as required.
 
  • Park/neutral position switch harness damaged, open, corroded.
  • SERVICE as required.
