Remember

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose only the following:

• powertrain control module (PCM) (12A650)
• injector driver module (IDM)
• harness circuits: cylinder identification (CID)

Description

The CID output provides information to the IDM so that the injector current can be applied to the correct injector.

P1219 = CID stuck low

P1667 = CID circuit failure
