Description

Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis, Mark VIII, Town Car, Mustang, Thunderbird/Cougar, E-Series/F-Series/Bronco (AODE/4R70W)
Taurus/Sable, Continental (AX4S)
E/F-Series/Bronco (E4OD)

The Manual Lever Position (MLP) sensor is a ratiometric rotary switch mounted on the transmission range selector linkage. It indicates the position of the shift lever by way of a variable resistance.
