AE: Output Circuit Check High
AE1 DTC 547 OUTPUT CIRCUIT CHECK HIGH
- DTC 547 indicates that the output circuit is out of range high.
- Possible cause:
- PCM Pin 90 reference voltage is shorted to 12 volts.
- Install breakout box. Leave PCM disconnnected.
- Key on.
Is voltage present at Pin 90?
| Yes | No |
| REPAIR short to B+. | GO to AE2. |
AE2 OUTPUT CIRCUIT CHECK PCM
Is voltage higher than 5 volts ± 0.5 at Pin 90?
| Yes | No |
| REPLACE PCM. | GO to AE3. |
AE3 OUTPUT CIRCUIT CHECK RETEST
Is DTC 547 still present?
| Yes | No |
| REPLACE PCM. | System OK. Test complete. |
